Les États-Unis créent une version sans pilote du système à réaction HIMARS

Les États-Unis travaillent sur une version sans pilote du système de lance-roquettes multiples HIMARS

The Aerospace and Missile Systems Research and Development Center of Excellence has created the Autonomous Multi-Domain Launcher, or simply AML, for this purpose. It is a modified version of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system that can operate under remote control or in fully autonomous mode.

Engineers are now developing software and hardware that will allow the combat vehicle to perform complex maneuvers in high-risk environments without human involvement. Specialists intend to solve the problem of HIMARS movement in unfamiliar terrain, as well as to train the unmanned system to interact with infantry and other equipment under enemy fire.
